FILMMAKER &
CREATIVE PRODUCER
My name is Sean Reardon; filmmaker, outdoor enthusiast, music hobbyist and dog lover. I’m originally from just north of Boston, (go Sox!) but have since made my way from Ithaca to Brooklyn to Philadelphia.
My first experience in film was making an Oscar-worthy film called "Vampire Slayer" with my sister and cousins when I was five years old. Besides some early detours toward being an MLB player-firefighter-superhero, I knew from a very early age I wanted to pursue a career in film.
​I graduated with a B.A In Documentary Studies & Production from Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications along with a minor in International Politics in 2020.
I’ve taken a multidisciplinary approach to my work in production, with my film and video career dovetailing nicely into live event production and Corporate AV. As a result, I've developed my a well-rounded set of skills in every stage of production– from development and producing, all the way through post-production, delivery and show time.
This approach has allowed me to combine all of these production elements into my creative producing, being able to seamlessly tap into the creative, technical and logistical needs of a production.
I revel in the collaboration, critical thinking, and storytelling puzzle of both filmmaking and live event production.
In my work behind the camera or in the control room, I always strive to capture the power of human emotion through the lens. ​
​In my editing work, I constantly hone a unique style that blends an emphasis on rhythm with heavy influence from the Kino-Eye technique.
My creativity thrives in harnessing both the constraints and unique potential of each project environment– sound, lights, space, and mood. I relish any opportunity to bring a variety of audiovisual and cinematic elements together to create immersive, emotional experiences for whatever audience, medium, or platform I approach.

Director of Photography on "The Garden Plot"
In the Massachusetts Statehouse as part of my Digital Media Producer role for the Ed Markey for Senate Re-election Campaign in 2020. We created his iconic ad from when he originally ran for reelection to the House of Representatives in 1976.
On set of a self-produced documentary for Acting Out!– a community theater company based in Lawrence, MA– an archive heavy project commemorating its twenty years, and speaking to the importance of community theater.
Meeting Dolores Huerta, civil rights activist, labor leader and co-founder of the United Farmworkers Union, during my internship at Brave New Films in 2018.
PA on shoot for Isotope Films Untitled Documentary about the Community Health Project at NYC Pride 2019. CHP was an AIDS clinic in Greenwich Village that provided critical care for patients at the height of the epidemic.
POV of multicamera shoot for Aaron Rizzo at Leesta Vall Studios in Brooklyn. This involved about two dozen unique takes of original songs, each pressed to vinyl.
